Me

My life revolves around two things, First is Programming and Second is ICE CREAM! Unlike having ice cream, I’ve not been coding since I was born but I’m equally good at enjoying every bite of the ice cream and every line of code!

Since childhood, I had learnt how to interact with computers, but that was just in the form of some mouse or keyboard clicks.
But, in the year 2008, I learnt how to talk to them! C, was the language that I learnt and it was an amazing experience. Just after that, I started imagining the things that can be done by talking to computers.

I was a gamer and had played almost every game including RPG’s, MOBA’s, MMO’s, FPS, Racing, Arcades etc. But then it was time to come to the real world. Whenever I played a game, it always ended up in confusion. The confusion would be that how could something like this happen? For example, In FIFA, the bots move in a specific pattern. How would that section be coded?

In every game that I played, these kind of questions kept coming to me. Finally, one fine day I actually tried to make a game. It wasn’t FIFA :p
The game was just a copy of the famous game Flappy Bird. The experience itself was so good that I was forced to learn more and more. Fortunately I got a chance to take an 8 Week training course at Make School in San Francisco which unlocked a completely new Dimension of coding in my life!
Currently, I am trying to get my hands on Artificial Intelligence. ^_^

Skills

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress

I have never preferred doing web development. But while interning at Koding Kingdom, I used to teach these languages due to which I become well versed with them. My strongest out of these is JavaScript. I have also explored React.js and Node.js. Learnt WordPress just out of curiosity.

Java 7

Java 7

I do not really prefer to use Java. But I have learnt it in my Undergrad and made some small GUI applications while interning at Pursuit Career Managers.

Git

Git

Git is the only VCS I’ve been using for all my projects.

Sketch , Photoshop , Pixelmator

Sketch , Photoshop , Pixelmator

I’ve been using Sketch quite extensively to build UI for my iOS projects. Was first introduced to this tool in 2015. Before that, I used to use Photoshop and Pixelmator.

C , C++ , C# , Objective-C

C , C++ , C# , Objective-C

The C family. Though Obj-C is way different than C and C++, I’d like to club it together for ease of pronunciation. My first language was C back in 2008 for a Micro controller P89V51RD2. As for C++, I use it mostly for Competitive Coding (at times I use python. Depends on the question). I had built the curriculum for Unity course while interning at Koding Kingdom, so there I had to learn C#. (No experience with it). Since my major is iOS development, I am quite well versed with Objective – C.

Python, Swift

Python, Swift

I find these two languages highly similar. These two are my most used languages in since 2015. I use Python for most of the Competitive Coding, ML and Data related projects. Swift has become my first choice for iOS applications. Though, there are times when I prefer Objective-C. But Swift just makes life easier :p

Android Development

Android Development

Most of my Android development experience is while making college projects. I started doing Android development 2014~.
Turned out, I didn’t like it much after being exposed to iOS Development for a long time.

iOS Development

iOS Development

I wrote my first iOS program in 2012 using the Cocos2d – ObjC game engine. Since then, I have explored SpriteKit, CoreML, Pods and shipped apps to the store.
